Power Snooker Play Fast, Play Furious.
Welcome to the new and exciting world of Power Snooker. A fast and furious adapted version of snooker, where players play with their instincts and attacking skills against both the player and the clock. Your strategy in playing the Power Ball is your key to winning! Power Snooker is played on a traditional snooker table, but unlike traditional snooker matches the game played at an intense pace for a fixed 30 minute period. Frames don’t count points do and the player with the most points at the end of the thirty minutes wins. The game is played with only nine reds arranged in a diamond with the Power Ball in the centre of the diamond. Potting the Power Ball starts a two minute period where all points scored are doubled. Behind the balk line is the Power Zone where points are doubled if the cue ball is struck within the Power Zone. If a shot is potted while the cue ball is struck within the Power Zone during a two minute Power Ball play points are quadrupled. Players get 20 seconds to take their shot. Today, traditional snooker is still being played in 90 countries by over 120 million people and watched by 450 million people worldwide.

What is different about Power Snooker?
Power Snooker Rules
champions- There are nine reds racked in a diamond. The middle red is the “Power Ball” and when potted triggers a 2 minute “ Power Play”, during which every ball potted counts double.
- The Break. Two or more reds must hit the cushion otherwise the player’s turn ends.
- Each game lasts 30 minutes.
- A shot clock allows 20 seconds a shot.
- If a shot is missed during a “Power Play” the clock is stopped and the opponent gains the remaining time in that “Power Play”.
- Behind the balkline is the “Power Zone”. If the cue ball is struck within the “Power Zone” any ball potted will count as double and during a “Power Play” quadruple.
- The ball in hand rule applies after a foul shot allowing the opponent to place the cue ball anywhere in the “Power Zone”.
- A century break in any frame is worth a bonus of 50 points. If this is repeated in the next frame it’s worth 100 points, and in the third frame 200 bonus points.
“You have to have dedication, and a lot of that is self-belief. You can’t just succeed with talent.”
